RAQ Sunshine Coast Luncheon 2017

An invitation is extended to all current and past members of RAEME, and friends of RAEME, who live on the Sunshine Coast/Wide Bay area, or the surrounding region, including Brisbane, visitors to the area and across Australia are also welcome.

The prime purpose of the gathering is to celebrate the 75^th Anniversary of the establishment of the Corps, and provide an opportunity for those of us lucky enough to live in this wonderful region, to renew old friendships and meet newly retired ‘Bluebells’, who may have moved to SE Qld in recent years.  

The Colonel Commandant, Queensland, Colonel Tony Borg (Rtd), will host the lunch and bring us up to speed on the impending Corps parade and dinner to be held at the Australian War Memorial on 1 Dec 17. RAQ Patron BRIG Ross Grant(Rtd) will be your MC for the day. We are in the process of confirming our guest speaker LTCOL Keirin Joyce Program Manager Unmanned Aerial Systems.- TBC

Lunch. Important details to remember include:

• Venue - Rm M4 Maroochy RSL, corner Memorial and First Avenues, Maroochydore.
• Timings- 1230 for 1300 hrs on Saturday 2 Sep 17
• Dress - Neat casual.
• Menu - A copy of the menu is available for download below.  Meals will be served as ‘alternate drop’. Please let us know of any special dietary needs.
• Drinks - Drinks can be purchased at the bar at your own expense.
• Parking - Free parking is available in the multi floor car park directly opposite the RSL.

Reserve a Seat. Limited Numbers -  We are thankful this year to have a Corps Subsidy and for RAQ Financial Members an extra subsidy. This early bird price applies to the first 120 tickets sold. Once this allocation is reached ticket prices will increase by $10.

• Once purchased and paid for, tickets are non-refundable
• Guests must comply with the Maroochydore RSL conditions of entry http://maroochyrsl.com.au/
• Tickets have no cash value
• We cannot guarantee the attendance of the guest speaker due to operational reasons. We will provide a replacement guest speaker if this happens.
