DESCRIPTION:2022 is the Corps’ 80th Anniversary year and what better way to
  celebrate such an occasion than by attending this year’s RAEME Associatio
 n – Queensland (RAQ)\, Sunshine Coast Chapter\, Annual Luncheon. You\, you
 r partner and interested friends are invited to attend this year’s celebra
 tory lunch\, to be held once more at the Maroochy RSL\, on Saturday 01 Oct
 ober 2022. The invitation is extended to all current and past members of R
 AEME\, and friends of RAEME\, who live on the Sunshine Coast/ Wide Bay are
 a\, or the surrounding region\, including Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Vis
 itors to the area at the time are also very welcome.\nAs you will be aware
  by now\, the prime purpose of the gathering is to provide an opportunity 
 for those of us who live in the wonderful Sunshine Coast region to renew o
 ld friendships and meet newly retired ‘Bluebells’ who may have moved to SE
  QLD. The good news is that this year we have no COVID restrictions in our
  venue of choice – the Maroochy RSL.\nWe are pleased to confirm that our g
 uest speaker is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Canberra based Aspen
  Medical\, retired RAEME Major Glenn Keys AO. Aspen Medical provides suppo
 rt across the full spectrum of healthcare in Australia and abroad and has 
 had Government contracts not just in Australia\, but in the UK\, US\, the 
 Middle East and Africa. Glenn has a wealth of experiences to talk about bu
 t will concentrate on Aspen’s support to State and Federal Government resp
 onses to the COVID pandemic in Australia. Glenn’s presentation should be i
 nformative and contribute greatly to another entertaining afternoon.\nThe 
 Colonel Commandant\, Queensland\, COL (Rtd) Steve Evans\, will again host 
 the lunch\, and as has become the practice\, BRIG (Rtd) Ross Grant AM will
  be our MC. We will again be ably supported by the Maroochy RSL catering a
 nd bar staff\, who will look after our every need.\nLunch Details. Importa

 en from 1200 to 1630 hours and drinks can be purchased at your own expense
