RAEME Birthday RAAF Base Townsville

The annual North Queensland RAEME birthday celebrations to be held at the 5th Aviation Regiment, RAAF Base Townsville, on 29 Nov 24.

The event will be co-hosted by the RAEME Association Queensland.

The corps of RAEME has been crucial in delivering and maintaining Defence capability in North Queensland. To demonstrate our appreciation, we invite you to celebrate this day with us in an informal setting, to strengthen bonds with current and exserving RAEME soldiers.

We also invite you to view some of our activities on offer this year including go-kart and drone racing, show ‘n’ shine, CH47 Chinook pull and more. There will be plenty of food and ‘refreshments’ on offer, so it’s sure to be a hit.

Please come along and listen to the soldiers’ stories and see what Defence capability the 5th Aviation Regiment has on offer.

If any Veterans or member would like to attend the day and do not hold a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC), you must register and will be escorted onto the base.

To make it a lot less stressful at the gate on the day, the following link National base induction form will give the induction to te base (select RAAF Townsville), which can be done prior to getting here and only takes a couple of minutes.
