We are excited to invite all serving members, veterans, and guests interested in the RAEME Corps to our upcoming FREE EVENT! This is a perfect opportunity to network, learn, and experience firsthand what the Corps has to offer. We encourage you to invite the women in your life—whether it's your daughter, niece, granddaughter, cousin, or sister—to come along and explore the Corps as well!

We can confirm a great line up of guest speakers including LTCOL Crystal Wright, Director of Land Engagements and Communications within Army Headquarters.

As the event will take place on an operational military base, registration is compulsory, and specific entry restrictions apply. Please see the details below for registration and access.

Registration & Access:

  • All Public Attendees:
    If you do not hold a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC), you must register and will be escorted onto the base.

  • To make it a lot less stressful at the gate on the day the following link National base induction form will give the induction to te base (select Gallippolli Barracks), which can be done prior to getting here and only takes a couple of minutes.
  • Serving Members and DCAC Holders:
    Serving members and others with a Defence Common Access Card, please register here and include the details of all attendees.

All attendees are asked to arrive at the secrutiy gate at the Lloyd Street entry to Gallipolli Barracks no later than 0630hrs on the day. Don’t forget to bring valid photo ID!

  • LTCOL Krystal Wright

    LTCOL Krystal Wright

    Lieutenant Colonel Wright currently serves as the Director of Land Engagements and Communications within Army Headquarters.

    She was commissioned into the Royal Australian Navy in 2005. She completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical) at the Australian Defence Force Academy in 2009 before transferring to the Army. Lieutenant Colonel Wright has enjoyed postings across Army and broader Defence, supporting the generation of capability and cultivating high performing teams.

    A career highlight for Lieutenant Colonel Wright was being appointed the Officer Commanding the Technical Support Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment. She was also the Responsible Manager for MRH90 Taipan during her tenure. These positions include the management of Military, Defence Civilians, and Defence Contractors.

    Most recently Lieutenant Colonel Wright was the Military Assistant to Head Land Capability. This position required extensive Government and Defence Industry liaison and engagements. This posting also provided her with strategic insight across Army and wider Defence systems. 

    Lieutenant Colonel Wright’s operational service includes deployments to Timor Leste and the Middle East Region. She is graduate of the Australian Command and Staff Course and holds a Master of Science in Reliability Engineering from University of Maryland, and a Master of Defence and Military Studies from Australian National University.
